Excitement is building in the city of brotherly love as Philadelphia prepares itself for the coming of PAX Unplugged. Penny Arcade’s first Tabletop focused convention will fill the Philadelphia Convention Center between November 17th-19th for a weekend of fun for everyone from the most competitive of Settlers of Catan players, to families that enjoy a casual game night around a kitchen table. PAX Unplugged will also feature a family friendly children’s day on Sunday, where families are encouraged to bring their small children an experience offerings angled towards the younger audience.
PAX Unplugged promises to be a unique gaming experience, with attendees traveling across the country to share in the excitement of their favorite hobby’s newest convention. Over 100 game designers, publishers and vendors will be in attendance to show off any number exciting new games. Information is scarce about the events taking place, but it’s a safe bet to assume there will be tournaments and panels to talk about what is to come in the ever growing world of tabletop gaming!
