Super Mario fans, get ready to meet your favorite plumber as he hits the road to promote the newest Nintendo Switch game: Super Mario Odyssey.
The new game lands on October 27. The open-world game focuses on Cappy, Mario’s iconic red cap and all of his incredible abilities, from hitting opponents and helping Mario capture baddies.
The recently uploaded trailer highlights the different worlds Mario visits in the game and his new costumes, as well as a look into two-player mode. Players will have the chance to control both Mario and Cappy.
Super Mario Odyssey’s story follows the usual Mario plot: Bowser captures Princess Peach and Mario has to travel on his ship, the Odyssey, to save her.
From October 10 through 26, Mario and Cappy are traversing the country to promote the game.
The tour starts at Universal CityWalk in LA, then heads to the State Fair of Texas in Dallas on October 18, Chicago’s Navy Pier on October 21, the Philadelphia Museum of Art on October 24 and ends at Rockefeller Center in New York on October 26.
Mario and Cappy will be traveling in a trailer covered in Super Mario Odyssey artwork. Fans will be able to hit each stop and preview the game. Photos from these locations will be posted on Nintendo’s Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr accounts, so make sure to follow along!
