The end of summer is quickly approaching and soon we will be inundated with pumpkin spice. The Academy of Natural Sciences has the perfect event that will help you enjoy the summer a little longer–and celebrate the Benjamin Franklin Parkway turning 100! The ANSP presents: Dino Drafts: The Academy Beer Garden on September 8 from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. This FREE event will have food, drinks, music, and dancing dinos! Important to note that you must be 21 and older to enjoy the drafts. You can invite your friends and RSVP on their Facebook event page.
Dino Drafts: The Academy Beer Garden is part of the We are 100 celebration, and because of this celebration guests can enjoy free admission to the museum and the beer garden. There will be mouthwatering bites provided by 12th Street Catering and of course delicious cold beer; that guests can purchase. Partial proceeds will benefit the Academy.
Guests will get several opportunities to dance the prehistoric polka with the Academy’s mascots: Eddie & Trixie! Glow sticks will be provided if you dance with them after sunset. There are other activities taking place; like the live animal encounters inside the museum, live animal shows on stage at Aviator Park, “bug walks” in Logan Square, and “backyards around the world!”
Get ready to do the Bedrock Twitch and enjoy dino-mite drafts at Dino Drafts: The Academy Beer Garden.
