Atomic Blonde which opens July 28th pairs Charlize Theron one of the baddest women currently working in action cinema with David Leitch who directed on John Wick, and is now at the helm of Deadpool 2. The film has Theron as an undercover MI6 agent who is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents. Word on this one as it has been screening the festival circuit has been nothing less than amazing. Check the official synopsis below:
Agent Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on an impossible mission. Sent alone into Berlin to retrieve a priceless dossier from within the destabilized city, she partners with embedded station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) to navigate her way through a deadly game of spies.
