Those who know me best, know that I am something of a horror buff. So this week’s project is an absolute joy to highlight.
The Theatre of Terror is a combination of sci-fi and horror that is shown from the perspective of four moviegoer. The moviegoers are described as “a deeply shattered soul, a delusional book lover, an unscrupulous hillbilly, and a gruesomely dysfunctional family, each with their own deep, dark desires.”
What’s not to love about this project already?
We have developed an Anthology of four short films which reflect our deep passion for old-style Sci-Fi and Horror television shows, such as The Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, and Tales from the Darkside. The stories on tap are highly reflective of a life-long obsession with these programs, and a fervent desire to pay tribute to the masters who brought them to countless viewers so long ago. We are so devoted to this project, that we literally put our name on it.
And as always, supporting awesome projects always leads to awesome perks afterwards. By pledging $50 or more, you will be able to receive the signed full length anthology DVD and feature poster of the film, plus a huge thank you. Pledging $100 or more will make you an official sponsor. The Theatre of Terror will link to your business or cause on their website and social media pages for one week, plus you’ll receive the perks mentioned prior.

Every week Geekadelphia features a crowdfunding project created by local Philadelphians. Check ‘em out and support our local geek scene. If you have a project that you’d like featured on site, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
