A father and son duo taking on the world of comics. So. Awesome. So very awesome. It almost reminds me of Bruce and Damian Wayne. Graphic artist Andre Krayewski and his son, Ed, are raising money to collect the “True Life Stories” installments from the first twenty issues of a monthly comics magazine FKT into one 200-page anthology.
The book, FKT TRUE LIFE, would collect the first 22 stories, from between FKT #2 and #20
After finishing the 11-issue SKYLINER, which my dad and I successfully published as a graphic novel thanks to the supporters we were able to find and connect with here on Kickstarter, my dad, 82-year-old graphic artist Andre Krayewski, wanted to continue working on comics.
So we created the monthly 40-page comics magazine FKT (pronounced fukt), a vehicle for him to explore different styles of cartooning and storytelling. FKT is a mix of ongoing series and stand-alone stories that are all intertwined, largely through our flagship series, “A True Life Story,” a series about my dad and I, and an expansive collection of reality-based characters around us, as we go about creating and living comics.
So far, the father son team has made $577 of their $1,000 goal. They still need help from dedicated geeks like you. Check out some of the perks below that you could receive for helping out.
