A Cure For Wellness opens in theaters Friday, February 17th and is the latest film by Gore Verbinski, who also coincidentally directed the first film in the American Ring series. The film also is a return to the psychological horror genre and his latest since helming The Lone Ranger back in 2013. A Cure For Wellness stars Dane William DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) as a young exec sent to fetch his company’s CEO from a mysterious “wellness center” in the Swiss Alps. Of course nothing is as it appears to be as the young man’s sanity is pushed to the limits as he is diagnosed with a curious illness that is plaguing the other inhabitants of the center.
