If you’re still experiencing the high that is “Stranger Things” you may be happy to hear that the Netflix’s show star, Millie Bobby Brown, will be making her first Wizard World appearance at this year’s Wizard World Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Brown stars as the main character, “Eleven” or El for short. “Stranger Things” premiered last summer to positive reviews. I recently finished watching the sci-fi styled series myself and found it to be very entertaining, reminiscent of Steven Spielberg’s “Goonies” and J.J. Abraham’s “Super 8.” I’m event tempted to purchase the vinyl record. The Pop! TV figures are debatable.
One thing to keep in mind leading up to Brown’s Philly arrival, and just Wizard World in general, is that the show and its celebrity guests are not cheap. According to Wizard, a ticket for Brown’s VIP will cost you a cool $244, after a $19 fee is added.
And let’s not forget the regular price ticket for the overall admission into the Wizard World show.
As cool as it would be to meet Brown, I think rewatching season one of the show will suffice upon her arrival here in the city.
But for those of you who are die hard fans of the young star (she’s been in other shows too, such as the BBC America series, “Intruders” and ABC’s “Once Upon a Time In Wonderland) you might want to start saving up now.
The bright side of all this is that Brown will be allowed to sign another item on site, if you don’t want her to sign the 8″ x 10″ Photo that she’ll have at her table. So for those who wish to cosplay as her character this year and carry a box of Eggo Waffles for her to sign, you’re in luck.
