It’s time once again for the week in film screenings in and around Philadelphia. This week is super slim on programming thanks to the Pope’s visit which has also inspired some interesting screening choices this week as well. While most folks will be checking out ‘The Pope’s Favorite Films’ series at the Roxy, I can’t help but suggest you also check out Gone with the Pope Thursday at PhilaMOCA. For those not in the know the film is the genre masterpiece starring Duke Mitchell about a recently paroled gangster that decides to kidnap the Pope and hold him hostage demanding a dollar from every Catholic in the world.
As always, if you have a screening you would like to add to the list feel free to email me at least a week ahead of time at Dan@geekadelphia.com.
