And now, they want to introduce you to the Philadelphia Public History Truck.
Curated by Erin Bernard, a member of Little Berlin and the fabulous PR person over at the Painted Bride Art Center, the Philly History Truck takes visitors on an “interdisciplinary exploration into East Kensington history driven entirely by a curatorial process.” The exhibition is titled Manufacturing Fire, and “examines fire and activism in this place while challenging us all to consider the critical danger in creating racial boundaries.”
The truck will display community-submitted objects, as well as work from the rest of the truck team, who includes Maria Möller, Lewis Colburn, Sister Helen Brancato, Peter Woodall, and more.
Come check it out at Little Berlin starting Friday, April 4th through April 26th.
