First Person Arts RAW Is Now Taking Applications

One of the hardest parts of being a creative person is finding a support system. All artists need a group of people who will look at your work, whether it be writing, acting, dancing, whatever, and give you an honest opinion about what you should keep and what you shouldn’t. And if you are working on art based on your life experiences, it can be that much harder.
Philadelphia’s First Person Arts knows this and is here to give you a hand, if you have the talent to impress them. They are now taking applications for their RAW artist development program. Through RAW, First Person Arts puts a spotlight on new work or works-in-progress that rides the razor’s edge of traditional memoir and documentary art.
With the help of some of Philly’s finest creative people, they will help you with technical and promotional support for your work, give you a spot on the bill of the 2013 First Person Arts Festival and, most importantly, help you become a better artist.
So if you think you have what it takes to impress, the application process is now open and waiting for you. What’s the worst that could happen? You become a better artist?
