The Titanic will rise again on the steps of the Franklin Institute this Friday… as an ice sculpture 12 feet long and four feet high.
Using chainsaws, the world famous ice carver Peter Slavin and his team will create this full-scale model of the Titanic starting at 10:30am. According to the Franklin, the performance will run into the afternoon, while a number of other ice carvers create additional pieces at the same time.
Visitors are welcome to come and watch the progress as it happens.
