Next Weekend: Monty Python’s Spamalot Returns to Philadelphia

Always look on the bright side of life, geeks.

Next weekend the Tony Award winning musical, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, returns to Philadelphia for two days only.

The “lovingly ripped off” musical adaptation of Monty Python and The Holy Grail is a hilarious ride through the irreverent, utterly quotable world of Monty Python. Yes, the show is inspired by The Holy Grail film, but there are songs and jokes pulled from classic sketches and other films throughout.

The last time the show toured through Philadelphia, I saw it twice. Twice. Make it a point to see the show while its in town, because wow, is it great. And you don’t even have to be familiar with Monty Python to enjoy it.

The show runs January 19th and 20th at the Merriam Theater, with three performances over the weekend. For more information on the show at the Merriam Theater, and to pick up tickets, visit the Kimmel Center’s official website.

Oh, and keep your eyes open for a ticket giveaway this Wednesday. We’ve got tickets to shows on Saturday and Sunday, just for you, dear geeks.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
