My first experience with Superheroes Who Are Super! was during the Fringe Fest this past September and what a fun time it was! Superheroes… is a humorous staged reading of a comic book, complete with ridiculous props, costume changes and the irreverence of improv theater. This weekend Superheroes… is staging to Spooky #10 just in time for Halloween!
Tomb of Dracula #10, written by Marv Wolfman touts the 1st appearance of Blade before he was a vampire himself and more of a 70’s polyester bad-ass. Also featured is Strange Tales #10 by Carl Wessler in which Frankenstein creates an heir. Since the evening performances can be a little over the top for the kiddies, the Saturday matinee performance will be rated PG so you can bring the little ones for a wee bit of Halloween fun!
Superheroes Who Are Super! #10 Edition goes down tonight and October 22nd, with performances at 1pm and 9pm at Plays and Players Theater. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Don’t miss out on this exciting and hilarious way to celebrate the spooky season!
