Philly Organizations in the Running for a Free iPhone Application

Pearl Jam @ the Mann Center
Icihere, the developer of the Ici app for the iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms, is currently running a contest to giveaway a $50,000 custom application to a nonprofit arts and culture organization in the Mid-Atlantic region.
These are the same folks who crafted the Philadelphia Film & Music Festival, Philadelphia Open Studio Tours, and Philagrafika applications, so you know it’s going to be something special.
The contest runs through October 31st, and the organization that scores the most votes will get this custom application. Want to vote? You just have to register on icihere.com, and you’ll be able to vote for an organization of your choice once a day.
There are a number of great Philly-based organizations running, including the Mann Center, InLiquid, the Allentown Art Museum, and UPenn’s Museum of Anthropology & Archaeology.
Check out the contest, vote for your favorite nonprofit, and help give a deserving institution a sweet new application.
