Stained Glass: The Church of the Geek

The greatest thing about all of these beautiful, stained glass pieces? Not a single one of them are photoshopped. That’s right, you’re looking at some legit art. This here stained glass Link was put together by Lynda Macrae of The Glass House in Canada.

Check out a full, high resolution image on her Flickr page. Wow.

My God. This here Pyramid Head stained glass, from the awesome Silent Hill video game series, will keep me horrified for days. The movie scared the hell out of me as well. Remember when he showed up outside the church, and what he did to that crazy chick? *shudder* check out a high rez version here.

The always incredible Deputy Dog has several more stained glass images on his site, including one of our beloved Master Chief and an outstanding Mega Man. I’d include them after the jump, but I’d really like to encourage our readers to pay his site a visit. He’s a great talent in this here blogosphere, and we don’t want to steal his thunder.

Enjoy!

Um yea, this is kind of creepy. I also saw Silent Hill and that was one of the scariest/video game films I had ever seen considering there is no such thing as a scary movie any more. It’s great art but um yea, and in a church!
